Laura Adeline Muntz Lyall reçoit la mention honorable en 1895 au Salon de Paris, gagne une médaille de bronze à l’exposition-vente de Louisiane et une médaille d’argent à l’Exposition Pan-Américaine à Buffalo en 1901. Elle est connue en particulier pour ses images de la maternité.
