Montréal, Québec 1910 - Saint-Sauveur, Québec 1996

Pierre-Vanier Beaulieu painted still lifes, landscapes, and figures in semi-abstract and modernistic styles. He was particularly interested in form and design and applied his painting liberally with a palette knife and a brush often using bright colours. Beaulieu's media included oils, watercolors, lithography and etching.
