Born in Belgium and a Quebecer by choice, Cecile Buysse received her BA in Visual Arts from Concordia University in 1991, where she studied painting with Guido Molinari. Between 1989 and 1996, she participated in several studio workshops with T. Hopkins and Seymour Segal at the Saydie Bronfman Center. Cécile works with oils, which she applies with a palette knife, in thick, sensual layers. She has been painting for more than 20 years.
