Born in Belgium
and a Quebecker by choice, Cecile Buysse received her BA in Visual Arts from
Concordia University in 1991
where she studied painting with Guido Molinari. Between 1989 and 1996, she participated in several
studio workshops with T. Hopkins and Seymour Segal at the Saydie Bronfman
Center. Oil is applied with a palette knife, in thick sensual layers. She has
been painting for more than 20 years.
