Quebec City, 1951
Élène Gamache studied Fine Arts at Quebec City's École des beaux-arts and Université Laval as well as the prestigious Banff School of Fine Arts in Alberta. Élène travels as often as she can, taking in all the light and colour of the places she visits. Iit seems that Italy has been the greatest source of inspiration for the artist. In her works, the outlines are defined, but the movement is free and spontaneous, almost abstract.
