Phyllis MENDELL

Born in Montreal, Phyllis Mendell studied the 'lost wax' technique with renowned sculptor Sylvia Lefkovitz, and also studied drawing, painting and sculpture at the Saidye Bronfman Center in Montreal. Her highly stylized sculptures representing the human form have clean and pure lines. Her works in bronze often represent the female form, the family, or the couple. Her sculptures can be found in private and public collections throughout Canada.
