Thérèse LACASSE

Originally from the Saguenay region of Quebec, Therese Lacasse has an arts degree from Université du Québec à Montréal and a Bachelor's degree in Art History from Université de Montréal. The freedom of her brushstrokes and her use of colour are at the core of Thérèse Lacasse's visual language. In her works - still lifes or the female form - the artist applies mixed media to canvas or to paper, all in a style bordering on abstraction. She has devoted her time to painting since 1970.
